Target: President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen, and all participants in the Washington peace talks
Goal: Urge all parties involved in the Ukraine peace talks to commit to a fair, inclusive, and transparent peace process that centers Ukrainian voices and rejects territorial concessions forced by aggression.
The people of Ukraine have endured years of violence, displacement, and human rights abuses as a result of Russia’s invasion. As peace talks continue in Washington, we call on all parties to prioritize the needs and voices of those most affected by the conflict. Any peace agreement must be just, uphold international law, and ensure the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Forced territorial concessions and the exclusion of Ukrainian perspectives undermine the prospects for a sustainable peace.
We urge negotiators to reject any proposals that legitimize aggression or violate the rights of the Ukrainian people. The international community must stand in solidarity with Ukraine and work towards a peace that is inclusive, just, and lasting.
