Target: President Donald Trump, US Congress, and White House National Security Staff
Goal: Urge President Trump and US officials to reject any peace deal that forces Ukraine to give up Crimea or forfeit its right to join NATO.
As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrives in Washington for critical talks, the US administration is reportedly pressuring Ukraine to accept Russia's demands: surrendering Crimea and permanently abandoning NATO membership. These conditions, dictated by Russia, would not only violate Ukraine's sovereignty but also embolden future acts of aggression worldwide.
Crimea was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014, and international law recognizes it as Ukrainian territory. Forcing Ukraine to cede Crimea rewards aggression and undermines the international order. Similarly, denying Ukraine the right to choose its own security alliances strips the nation of its agency and security. The US must stand firm in support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and self-determination.
We call on President Trump and all US officials to reject any agreement that compromises Ukraine's sovereignty or blocks its path to NATO membership. Peace must not come at the cost of justice and international law.
