Target: President of the United States, European Heads of State, and NATO leadership
Goal: Urge US and European leaders to reject any settlement that forces Ukraine to cede territory or accept terms favorable to Russia, and to guarantee Ukraine’s security and self-determination.
The upcoming summit in Washington between President Zelensky, President Trump, and European leaders is a pivotal moment for Ukraine’s future. Recent statements and diplomatic maneuvers raise concerns that Ukraine may be pressured into accepting a peace deal that undermines its territorial integrity and rewards Russian aggression. President Putin’s proposals, which demand Ukraine relinquish control of the Donetsk region, are unacceptable and violate international law.
Ukraine’s people have endured immense suffering since the 2022 invasion, and millions remain displaced. Any peace process must prioritize their rights, Ukraine’s sovereignty, and the principle that borders cannot be changed by force. The international community must stand united in rejecting any outcome that legitimizes occupation or coerces Ukraine into concessions.
We call on the US, European leaders, and NATO to:
Ukraine’s future and the rules-based international order depend on your commitment to justice and self-determination. Stand with Ukraine for a fair and lasting peace.
