Target: President Donald Trump, European Heads of State, and NATO leadership
Goal: To urge President Trump, European leaders, and all parties involved to reject any peace deal that compromises Ukraine’s territorial integrity or is negotiated under duress, and to ensure that Ukraine’s democratic will and security are respected.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and displaced millions. As President Zelenskyy and European leaders meet with President Trump, there are growing concerns that the US administration may pressure Ukraine into accepting a settlement favorable to Moscow, undermining Ukraine’s sovereignty and the will of its people.
Ukraine has made clear that any peace must begin with respect for its borders and constitution. Proposals that force Ukraine to cede territory or negotiate under the threat of continued violence are unacceptable. The international community must not reward aggression or set a precedent that powerful nations can redraw borders by force.
We call on all parties to reject any deal that sacrifices Ukrainian territory or security, and instead work towards a peace that is just, lasting, and rooted in international law and the self-determination of the Ukrainian people.
