Target: U.S. President, U.S. Congress, and international diplomatic bodies
Goal: We call on world leaders, especially the United States government, to take decisive action to protect Ukrainian civilians and push for an immediate, unconditional ceasefire.
In the past 24 hours, Russian strikes have killed at least eight civilians and injured 35 across Ukraine, devastating communities in Kherson and Sumy oblasts. These attacks have targeted homes and critical infrastructure, further endangering the lives of ordinary people.
Despite recent meetings between U.S. and Russian leaders, there has been no progress toward ending the violence. Instead, Russia has escalated its use of drones and missiles, rejecting calls for an unconditional ceasefire. The international community must not stand by as civilians continue to suffer.
We urge the U.S. government and global leaders to prioritize the protection of Ukrainian civilians, demand an immediate ceasefire, and hold those responsible for attacks on civilian infrastructure accountable.
