Target: President Donald Trump, the White House, US Congress, and European Leaders
Goal: We call on President Trump, the US administration, and allied leaders to reject any peace deal that forces Ukraine to give up its territory or its right to pursue NATO membership, and to fully support Ukraine’s sovereignty and democratic future.
As President Trump meets with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, we are alarmed by public statements that pressure Ukraine to accept the loss of Crimea, abandon NATO aspirations, and agree to territorial concessions demanded by Russia. These positions disregard international law, the UN Charter, and the fundamental rights of the Ukrainian people.
Ukraine has been subjected to unprovoked aggression, with ongoing Russian strikes causing civilian casualties and destruction. The suggestion that Ukraine should simply 'end the war' by surrendering its territory is unacceptable and sets a dangerous precedent for global security.
We urge the US and its allies to stand firm against any peace proposal that rewards aggression, undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty, or excludes Ukraine from security alliances of its choosing. True peace must be based on justice, respect for borders, and the will of the Ukrainian people—not on the interests of aggressors or the expediency of powerful states.
