Target: US Congress, President of the United States, and US Department of State
Goal: We call on US leaders and the international community to respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and support its right to choose its own alliances, free from external pressure or coercion.
The suggestion that Ukraine could achieve peace by surrendering Crimea and renouncing its NATO ambitions ignores the fundamental principles of international law and the will of the Ukrainian people. Crimea was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014, and Ukraine’s aspirations to join NATO reflect its desire for security and democratic partnership. Pressuring Ukraine to make such concessions would set a dangerous precedent, rewarding aggression and undermining global norms.
We urge US policymakers to stand firmly with Ukraine, reject any calls to legitimize territorial annexation, and affirm Ukraine’s right to determine its own future. Peace can only be achieved through respect for sovereignty, justice, and the democratic choices of nations.
