The recent announcement by the Coalition of the Willing—led by France, the UK, and the US—to deploy security forces in Ukraine after hostilities end raises urgent questions about the future of Ukraine's sovereignty, democracy, and civilian safety. While supporting Ukraine's right to peace and self-determination, we are concerned that military-led interventions risk sidelining Ukrainian civil society and perpetuating cycles of violence.
