Target: President of the United States, U.S. Congress, and International Community
Goal: We call on world leaders and the US government to support Ukrainian sovereignty, reject external pressure to cede territory, and advocate for a peace process that centers justice, democracy, and the will of the Ukrainian people.
President Trump’s recent remarks blaming President Zelenskyy for the ongoing war in Ukraine, and ruling out both the return of Crimea and Ukraine’s entry into NATO, set a dangerous precedent. These statements ignore Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea and the Ukrainian people’s right to determine their own future.
Peace cannot be achieved by forcing Ukraine to surrender its sovereignty or accept unjust terms dictated by foreign powers. The international community must stand in solidarity with Ukraine, support its right to self-defense, and ensure that any peace process is just, democratic, and respects international law.
We urge the U.S. government and global leaders to reject narratives that blame the victim and instead work towards a peace that upholds human rights, territorial integrity, and the democratic aspirations of the Ukrainian people.
