Demand a Just and Lasting Peace for Ukraine—No Deals Behind Closed Doors

Target: President Donald Trump, U.S. Administration, and European leaders

Goal: Urge President Trump and all negotiators to uphold Ukraine’s right to self-determination, reject any settlement that legitimizes illegal territorial annexations, and ensure any peace process is transparent and accountable to those most affected.

As President Zelenskyy meets with President Trump and European leaders in Washington, critical decisions about Ukraine’s future and the path to peace are being made. The voices of the Ukrainian people and the global community must not be sidelined in favor of expedient deals that sacrifice justice and sovereignty.

With the war in Ukraine ongoing, President Zelenskyy has called for a rapid and reliable end to the conflict—one that delivers lasting peace, not a repeat of past broken promises and territorial concessions. Yet, President Trump has publicly ruled out Ukraine’s right to reclaim Crimea and join NATO, suggesting a peace deal that undermines Ukrainian sovereignty and security.

History shows that so-called 'security guarantees' and forced territorial compromises have only enabled further aggression and suffering. The people of Ukraine deserve a peace that is just, not merely expedient. We must not allow powerful leaders to make decisions behind closed doors that ignore the will and rights of those most affected.

We call on all parties to center Ukrainian voices, uphold international law, and ensure any agreement does not reward aggression or set a dangerous precedent for the world.
