Demand Transparent, Inclusive Peace Negotiations for Ukraine

Target: United States Government, European Union Leaders, and Negotiating Parties
Goal: Ensure that any security guarantees or peace agreements for Ukraine are developed transparently, include Ukrainian voices, and uphold human rights and sovereignty.
The possibility of the United States and Europe providing Ukraine with NATO-style security guarantees represents a significant development in efforts to end the war. However, history has shown that peace agreements made behind closed doors often fail to address the needs and rights of those most affected. We call on all negotiating parties to ensure that any deal:
- Is developed with full transparency and public accountability.
- Centers the voices of Ukrainian civil society, including marginalized communities.
- Upholds Ukraine's sovereignty and the right to self-determination.
- Commits to justice for victims of war crimes and displacement.
- Rejects any arrangement that compromises Ukraine's territorial integrity or democratic future.
True peace can only be achieved through inclusive, just, and democratic processes. The world is watching—let us not repeat the mistakes of the past.
