We call on world leaders to take decisive action to end the war and stop funding aggression through fossil fuel purchases.

Oil prices fell after the U.S. government decided to hold off on further action against Russia's oil exports, following meetings between President Trump and President Putin. This pause in sanctions keeps Russian oil flowing to major importers like China and India, providing Moscow with the resources to continue its war in Ukraine. The ongoing conflict has caused immense suffering, displacement, and loss of life, while fossil fuel profits fund further aggression and environmental destruction.

We believe that the U.S. and its allies must not allow economic interests and oil market stability to take precedence over human rights, peace, and climate justice. The world must act now to cut off the flow of money fueling this war and push for a peace process that respects Ukraine’s sovereignty and the rights of its people.
