Target: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, U.S. President, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and all Washington Summit participants
Goal: To urge European and U.S. leaders to reject any peace deal that compromises Ukraine’s sovereignty or is negotiated without Ukraine’s full consent, and to secure robust, enforceable security guarantees for Ukraine.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has devastated millions of lives and upended the European order. As President Zelensky meets with European and U.S. leaders in Washington, the world faces a crucial test: Will peace be built on justice and self-determination, or will it reward aggression and set a dangerous precedent?
Recent proposals—such as pressuring Ukraine to cede the Donbas or offering vague 'security guarantees'—ignore the lessons of history. Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons in 1994 in exchange for protection, only to be invaded and occupied. Today, any deal that excludes Ukraine’s full consent or compromises its territorial integrity is unacceptable.
We stand with the people of Ukraine, who demand peace with dignity—not more empty promises or coerced concessions. We call on all leaders at the Washington summit to:
The world is watching. Let us not repeat the mistakes of the past. Stand for justice, sovereignty, and a peace worthy of those who have suffered most.
