As world leaders gather to discuss the future of Ukraine, there is mounting pressure on President Zelenskiy to accept a peace deal that would force Ukraine to cede territory to Russia. We are deeply concerned by reports that the upcoming meeting between President Trump and President Zelenskiy, attended by key European leaders, will pressure Ukraine to accept a peace deal that involves ceding territory to Russia. Any peace agreement must be just, respect Ukraine's territorial integrity, and be reached without coercion. We call on all leaders present at the Washington summit to stand firm against any proposal that legitimizes territorial conquest and to support diplomatic solutions that uphold human rights and the rule of law.
