Target: United Nations Security Council, International Criminal Court, and world governments
Goal: We demand immediate international action to protect Ukrainian civilians and hold accountable those responsible for attacks on residential areas.
On June 2024, Kharkiv and Sumy in northeastern Ukraine suffered renewed missile and aerial bomb attacks, injuring at least 11 people and destroying homes, schools, and infrastructure. These attacks, which have become tragically routine since the full-scale invasion in February 2022, continue to target civilian areas, leaving families displaced and traumatized.
International law prohibits deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure. Despite this, thousands of Ukrainians have died, and many more have been injured or forced to flee. The global community must act to uphold human rights and protect those most vulnerable in this conflict.
We call on the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, and governments worldwide to take decisive action to protect civilians, ensure accountability for war crimes, and support humanitarian aid for affected communities.
