Demand Strong U.S. and European Support for Ukraine’s Sovereignty and Peace

The ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine has resulted in immense human suffering, displacement, and the violation of international law. As President Zelenskyy and European leaders meet with President Trump in Washington, the world is watching to see if the U.S. and its allies will uphold their commitments to peace, democracy, and the sovereignty of nations.

It is alarming that President Zelenskyy was previously excluded from key diplomatic discussions, while Russia continues its aggression. The international community must stand united in supporting Ukraine’s right to self-determination and in rejecting any deals that undermine its territorial integrity.

We call on all leaders at the Washington summit to:

• Provide clear and enforceable security guarantees to Ukraine.
• Reject any agreements or negotiations that compromise Ukraine’s sovereignty or cede territory to Russia.
• Increase humanitarian aid and support for Ukrainian civilians affected by the war.
• Hold Russia accountable for violations of international law and human rights.
• Include Ukrainian voices at every stage of the peace process.

Only through principled action and solidarity can we achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and Europe.
