Support a Just and Lasting Peace for Ukraine Without Forced Territorial Concessions

Target: Leaders of the European Union, United States, and NATO

Goal: Urge European and US leaders to support a cease-fire and negotiations that respect Ukraine’s sovereignty, without pressuring Ukraine to cede territory to Russia.

As world leaders gather in Washington to discuss the future of Ukraine, it is vital that the voices of ordinary people be heard. We call on European and American leaders to stand firm in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to reject any peace deals that force Ukraine to surrender its land under pressure.

As President Zelensky meets with leaders from France, Germany, Italy, Britain, Finland, the EU, and NATO in Washington, critical decisions are being made about Ukraine’s future. Reports indicate that President Trump may pressure Ukraine to accept a deal proposed by President Putin, which would require Ukraine to surrender the eastern Donbas region in exchange for a frozen conflict. Such an agreement would violate Ukraine’s constitution, undermine its sovereignty, and reward aggression.

We stand with the people of Ukraine and demand that any peace negotiations prioritize their rights, security, and self-determination. Forced territorial concessions under threat of violence set a dangerous precedent and threaten the stability of Europe and the world. We urge our leaders to support a cease-fire and pursue a diplomatic solution that does not legitimize occupation or undermine Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
