Target: United Nations, U.S. Government, European Union, and International Criminal Court
Goal: Urge world leaders and international organizations to prioritize civilian protection, uphold justice, and ensure that any peace negotiations center the needs and rights of Ukrainian people.
On Sunday, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile at a residential area in Kharkiv, injuring at least 11 people, including a 13-year-old girl. In Sumy, guided aerial bomb strikes further devastated civilian infrastructure, damaging homes and schools. These attacks are part of a pattern of targeting civilians since the full-scale invasion began in 2022, leaving thousands dead and countless more displaced.
Despite these ongoing atrocities, some world leaders are pressuring Ukraine to accept a quick peace deal that does not address the root causes of the conflict or guarantee the safety and rights of Ukrainian people. We cannot allow expedient diplomacy to override justice and accountability for war crimes.
We call on international bodies and governments to take immediate action to protect civilians, provide humanitarian aid, and ensure that any peace process is just, inclusive, and centered on the needs of those most impacted by the war.
