Target: US President Donald Trump, Secretary of State, and Congressional Leadership
Goal: Urge the US government and international leaders to take decisive action to end the war in Ukraine, uphold international law, and prioritize human rights over oil profits.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in immense human suffering, displacement, and loss of life. Despite this, the recent Trump-Putin summit did not lead to stronger measures against Russia's aggression. Instead, the US has chosen to pause further action on restricting Russian oil exports, prioritizing economic interests over the urgent need for peace and justice.
As global citizens, we cannot accept a 'land-for-peace' deal that rewards territorial aggression and undermines international law. We call on the US government and its allies to take a principled stand: support Ukraine's sovereignty, implement stronger sanctions on Russian oil exports, and ensure that any peace negotiations are just and respect the rights of the Ukrainian people.

- Reinstate and strengthen sanctions on Russian oil and energy exports until Russia ends its war in Ukraine and withdraws from occupied territories.
