Protect Ukraine’s Sovereignty: Demand Transparent, Inclusive Peace Negotiations

Target: President Donald Trump, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, European Leaders, and the US Congress
Goal: Ensure that any peace agreement regarding Ukraine is made transparently, with full participation from Ukraine and European allies, and without coercion or forced territorial concessions.
We are deeply concerned by reports that high-level negotiations about the future of Ukraine are taking place between the US, Russia, and European leaders. While we welcome international support for peace, we insist that any agreement must be reached transparently and with the full participation of Ukraine, free from external pressure or coercion.
President Zelensky and European leaders have made it clear that Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are non-negotiable. History has shown that peace imposed from above, without the consent of those most affected, cannot last. We urge all parties to respect Ukraine’s right to self-determination and to reject any settlement that would force Ukraine to cede territory or compromise its independence.
We also call for robust, enforceable security guarantees for Ukraine, developed in partnership with European allies, and for the United States to support Ukraine’s aspirations for EU accession and long-term peace.
We demand transparency in all negotiations, meaningful participation of Ukrainian civil society, and a firm commitment to international law and human rights.
