Target: President of the United States, U.S. Secretary of State, and U.S. Special Envoy to Ukraine Negotiations
Goal: Urge the United States government and international negotiators to reject any peace agreement that forces Ukraine to give up its territory or sovereignty, and to uphold the rights of Ukrainians to determine their own future.
Recent reports indicate that current negotiations between the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine may involve pressure on Ukraine to accept a 'land swap' or cede regions such as Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Crimea to Russia. Such an outcome would legitimize the use of military aggression to alter internationally recognized borders and set a dangerous precedent for future conflicts.
International law is clear: borders must not be changed by force. Any peace process must ensure that Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity are fully respected, and that the Ukrainian people are at the center of any decision about their country's future. The United States and its allies must not endorse or pressure Ukraine into accepting unjust concessions. Instead, they should support a peace process grounded in justice, accountability, and respect for human rights.
We call on U.S. leaders and negotiators to stand firm against any deal that would force Ukraine to cede territory or compromise its sovereignty. We demand an end to the war through diplomacy that prioritizes the voices and rights of those most affected: the Ukrainian people.
