Support Strong Security Guarantees and Aid for Ukraine in US Talks

Target: President Donald Trump and the United States Congress
Goal: Urge President Trump and the US government to provide robust security guarantees and sustained aid to Ukraine, and to prioritize Ukraine’s sovereignty in all negotiations.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has caused immense suffering, displacement, and instability in Eastern Europe. As President Zelenskyy meets with President Trump and European leaders, the eyes of the world are on Washington. The US must not abandon Ukraine or allow its future to be decided without its input.
Ukraine’s sovereignty and the security of Europe are at stake. The US should provide strong security guarantees, maintain military and humanitarian aid, and ensure that any negotiations with Russia are transparent and inclusive of Ukrainian voices. The exclusion of President Zelenskyy from direct talks with President Putin is unacceptable and undermines Ukraine’s agency.
We call on President Trump and Congress to stand with Ukraine and its European allies, resist pressure to appease Russia, and commit to a just peace that respects Ukraine’s territorial integrity and democratic aspirations.
