Ukraine continues to face aggression from Russia, threatening not only its sovereignty but also the stability of Europe and the principles of international law. As President Zelenskyy and European leaders convene in Washington, the U.S. must demonstrate unwavering support for Ukraine by offering meaningful security guarantees and ensuring that Ukrainian leadership is central in all negotiations regarding their future.
Excluding Ukraine from critical discussions with Russia undermines the prospects for a just and lasting peace. The U.S. has a responsibility to uphold democratic values, support its allies, and deter further aggression.
