Demand Transparent, Just, and Democratic Security Guarantees for Ukraine—No Deals Without Ukrainian Consent

Target: US President, European Union leaders, UK Prime Minister, French President, German Chancellor, NATO Secretary-General, and all parties involved in Ukraine peace negotiations
Goal: Ensure that any security guarantees or peace agreements for Ukraine are fully transparent, uphold Ukrainian sovereignty, and are subject to democratic processes such as referenda, with no forced territorial concessions.
As international leaders—including the US, UK, France, Germany, and Russia—discuss security guarantees and peace deals for Ukraine, we are deeply concerned by reports of potential territorial concessions and closed-door agreements. Any arrangement that compels Ukraine to cede territory, such as the Donbas region or Crimea, without the explicit consent of the Ukrainian people, violates the principles of self-determination and international law.
We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, who have endured invasion, occupation, and war crimes. Their voices and democratic rights must be central to any peace process. Security guarantees must be robust, transparent, and developed with full Ukrainian participation—not dictated by outside powers or traded for territorial compromise.
We call on all negotiating parties to reject any peace deal that undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty or bypasses democratic processes. The international community must not legitimize aggression or reward violations of international law. Instead, we demand a just peace that respects Ukraine’s territorial integrity and the will of its people.
