Goal: Our goal is to show public support for the Democratic Party’s continued fight for equality, justice, and democracy, and to demand that media and political leaders stop spreading misinformation about its supposed collapse.
In light of recent statements by conservative commentators claiming the Democratic Party has 'collapsed,' we, the undersigned, affirm our support for a vibrant, inclusive, and progressive Democratic Party. The Democratic Party has long been a champion for civil rights, economic justice, climate action, and the protection of marginalized communities. Attempts to delegitimize the party are not only factually incorrect but also threaten the fabric of our democracy by discouraging civic participation and undermining faith in our institutions. We call on media outlets and political leaders to reject divisive rhetoric and instead focus on policies that unite and uplift all Americans.
