Target: President of the United States, U.S. Congress, Secretary of State, and U.S. Delegation to International Summits
Goal: We call on U.S. leaders and international allies to uphold justice, reject any legitimization of war crimes, and ensure that U.S. foreign policy stands firmly with Ukraine's sovereignty and international law.
The recent Alaska summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin has sent a troubling message to the world: that the United States may be willing to overlook grave violations of international law for the sake of political optics. Despite promises of a ceasefire and 'severe consequences' for further Russian aggression, the summit ended with no commitments, no progress towards peace, and no accountability for Russia's actions in Ukraine.
Instead, the event provided Putin with a global platform and the symbolic red carpet treatment, while U.S. officials failed to secure even the bare minimum—a ceasefire or a guarantee of Ukraine's territorial integrity. Reports suggest that Trump was willing to consider Russian demands for Ukraine to cede the occupied Donbas region, a move that would undermine Ukrainian sovereignty and reward aggression.
We cannot allow war criminals to be legitimized on American soil. We cannot allow U.S. policy to abandon our allies or international law. We demand that our leaders take immediate action to reaffirm America's commitment to justice, accountability, and peace.
