Uphold Ukrainian Sovereignty: No Land for Peace Deals Without Ukraine at the Table

As the world watches critical talks in Washington, we call on all leaders to respect Ukraine's sovereignty and the principles of international law. Recent reports indicate pressure on Ukraine to accept a 'land for peace' deal that would cede Donetsk and Luhansk to Russia in exchange for security guarantees. Such arrangements, made without Ukraine's full participation and consent, undermine the right of a nation to determine its own future.

International borders cannot be redrawn by force. Any peace process must include Ukraine as an equal party at the table, and must not reward aggression with territorial gains. We urge global leaders to reject any settlement that forces Ukraine to surrender land, and instead pursue a just and lasting peace that respects the will of the Ukrainian people.

We demand that the coalition of the willing, the United States, and all negotiating parties:

• Guarantee Ukraine's full participation in all negotiations regarding its future.
• Reject any agreements that cede Ukrainian territory under duress.
• Support Ukraine's right to self-determination and integration with the EU and NATO if it so chooses.
• Provide robust security guarantees that do not undermine Ukraine's sovereignty or territorial integrity.
• Commit to upholding international law and opposing any changes to borders by force.

Peace can only be achieved through justice, respect, and the inclusion of those most affected. Stand with Ukraine for a just and lasting peace.
