Target: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, U.S. President, and Congressional leaders
Goal: We call on European and U.S. leaders to reject any peace settlement that compromises Ukraine's territorial integrity or is negotiated without the full involvement and consent of the Ukrainian people.
Recent reports indicate that U.S. and Russian officials are discussing proposals for Ukraine to surrender significant portions of its eastern territory in exchange for limited security guarantees. These talks risk sidelining Ukraine and undermining its sovereignty, despite the immense sacrifices made by its people in defense of their land and democracy.
History has shown that so-called 'security guarantees' without concrete, enforceable commitments are not enough to deter aggression. Ukraine's borders were already meant to be protected under the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, yet these assurances failed to prevent the annexation of Crimea and the ongoing war.
We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and demand that any peace process centers their voices and rights. No agreement should be made over Ukraine's territory without the explicit consent of its democratically elected government. We urge world leaders to uphold international law, reject any deals that reward aggression, and provide robust, practical security guarantees developed with European participation and oversight.
