Goal: Ensure that EU and US leaders uphold Ukraine’s territorial integrity, reject any peace deal based on territorial concessions, and commit to robust support for Ukraine’s self-determination.
Recent reports indicate that EU leaders and President Zelensky are meeting in Washington amid mounting pressure from the US administration to accept a peace settlement that could legitimize Russia’s illegal territorial gains in Ukraine. Such a move would undermine international law, embolden further aggression, and betray the Ukrainian people’s right to self-determination.
We call on EU and US leaders to reject any settlement that involves territorial concessions to Russia. The international community must not reward aggression or allow the normalization of borders changed by force.
