Target: US President, Russian President, United Nations, and International Community
Goal: Urge world leaders to prioritize human rights, sovereignty, and justice in all negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
The war in Ukraine, initiated by Russia's invasion in February 2022, has resulted in thousands of deaths, widespread destruction, and the displacement of millions. While recent discussions between President Putin and President Trump are a step toward dialogue, peace must not come at the expense of justice or the self-determination of the Ukrainian people.
We call on all parties to ensure that any agreement:
- Respects Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity
- Centers the needs and rights of civilians, refugees, and victims of war
- Holds perpetrators of war crimes accountable
- Provides for humanitarian aid and reconstruction
- Includes meaningful participation from Ukrainian civil society and marginalized communities
Peace is only possible when it is built on justice, accountability, and respect for human dignity. We urge the international community to stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and demand a fair, inclusive, and lasting resolution to this conflict.
