Target: US President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Union leaders, NATO Secretary General, and the United Nations
Goal: We call on US, European, and international leaders to reject any peace plan that requires Ukraine to cede territory under pressure, and to insist on an immediate ceasefire as a precondition for negotiations.
The recent summit between President Trump and President Putin has resulted in a dangerous shift in US policy, with the Trump administration now backing a plan that would force Ukraine to surrender more of its territory to Russia in exchange for a so-called 'peace agreement.' This approach not only disregards the will of the Ukrainian people but also sets a precedent that powerful states can redraw borders through military aggression.
European leaders, together with President Zelensky, have rightly insisted that a ceasefire must come before any negotiations, and that Ukraine must have full agency over decisions regarding its territory. Skipping ceasefire discussions and pressuring Ukraine to concede land rewards aggression and undermines international law.
We urge all parties involved to prioritize human rights, international law, and the self-determination of the Ukrainian people. The international community must stand united against any attempt to legitimize territorial conquest or sideline the voices of those most affected by war.
