Target: United States government, Russian government, Ukrainian government, United Nations, European Union, and all parties involved in the Ukraine conflict
Goal: We call on world leaders to immediately halt military escalation, end unilateral sanctions that harm civilians, and convene inclusive peace negotiations involving all stakeholders to secure a just, lasting resolution to the Ukraine conflict.
For over three years, the war in Ukraine has devastated communities, destroyed infrastructure, and threatened global security. Attempts to resolve the crisis through military means and punitive sanctions have only prolonged the suffering and increased the risk of broader conflict. The recent meeting between US and Russian leaders has shown that diplomacy is possible and necessary.
History teaches us that negotiation is the only way to resolve such crises. From the Cuban Missile Crisis to the Six-Party Talks on the Korean Peninsula, dialogue has averted catastrophe and paved the way for peace. Now, the world must demand that all parties commit to immediate ceasefire, end the cycle of violence, and engage in good-faith negotiations that center the voices and needs of those most affected.
We urge international institutions and governments to reject further escalation and external interference, and instead invest in a diplomatic process that ensures a fair, lasting, and binding peace agreement. The people of Ukraine, the region, and the world deserve nothing less.
