Goal: Ensure that any negotiations or summits concerning the Ukraine conflict are transparent, inclusive, and uphold Ukraine's right to self-determination.

Recent reports of backroom diplomacy between world leaders threaten to sideline the Ukrainian people and undermine democratic principles in the search for peace. The future of Ukraine must not be decided without the full participation of Ukrainians and respect for their sovereignty.

We are alarmed by reports of closed-door meetings and diplomatic maneuvering between US, Russian, and European leaders regarding the future of Ukraine. Peace is urgently needed, but it cannot be achieved through secret deals or by pressuring Ukraine to accept terms dictated by foreign powers.

Any settlement that ignores the voices and democratic will of the Ukrainian people risks legitimizing aggression and setting a dangerous precedent for international relations. We call on all parties to commit to a transparent, inclusive peace process that centers Ukrainian agency, respects international law, and upholds the principles of sovereignty and self-determination.
