Demand a Just Peace for Ukraine: No Territorial Concessions to Aggression

Target: President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Union leaders, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte
Goal: Urge President Trump, European leaders, and all negotiating parties to reject any peace deal that requires Ukraine to cede territory to Russia, and to uphold international law and the rights of the Ukrainian people.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has brought untold suffering to millions and threatens the stability of Europe and the world. Recent reports indicate that current negotiations may involve pressuring Ukraine to give up regions such as Donbas in exchange for a temporary halt to Russia’s offensive. Such a deal would set a dangerous precedent, encouraging further aggression and undermining the principle of national sovereignty.
We call on President Trump, President Zelensky, the European Union, and NATO to stand firm against any agreement that legitimizes territorial conquest by force. Security guarantees must not come at the expense of justice, democracy, and the rights of the Ukrainian people. The international community must not reward aggression or allow the forced annexation of Ukrainian land to become normalized.
We urge all parties to work towards a just and lasting peace that respects Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders, holds perpetrators of war crimes accountable, and supports the Ukrainian people’s right to self-determination.
