End Inhumane ICE Raids and Protect Immigrant Communities in Chicago

Target: U.S. Department of Homeland Security, ICE, and Chicago city officials

Goal: We call for an immediate halt to mass ICE raids in Chicago, protection for immigrant families, and the implementation of humane immigration policies.

Recent aggressive ICE raids in the Chicago area have led to fear, family separation, and even self-deportation among long-term immigrants. These actions are causing irreparable harm to communities and undermining the values of compassion and justice.

Immigration enforcement actions in Chicago have escalated dramatically, resulting in a surge of arrests, detentions, and forced self-deportations. Long-term residents who have contributed to our communities for years are now living in constant fear, with families being torn apart and trust in public institutions eroding.

These raids do not make our communities safer. Instead, they destabilize neighborhoods, disrupt local economies, and violate basic human rights. We urge policymakers and local officials to stand up for the dignity and safety of all residents, regardless of immigration status.

We demand an immediate end to mass ICE raids, the protection of immigrant families, and the pursuit of fair and humane immigration reform.
