Goal: We call on the United States, European Union, and all negotiating parties to establish clear, enforceable security guarantees for Ukraine, including a pathway to EU accession and robust protections against future aggression.

While leaders have welcomed the prospect of 'Article 5-like' guarantees, Ukraine's future security and sovereignty are still at risk without concrete commitments.

Ukraine continues to face existential threats to its sovereignty and the safety of its people. While recent diplomatic developments suggest Russia may allow Western powers to help protect Ukraine, the lack of transparency and enforceable commitments leaves Ukraine vulnerable. Vague promises are not enough—real security requires binding guarantees, accountability, and a clear path to European integration.

We urge all parties to prioritize the voices and agency of Ukrainians in these negotiations, ensure any agreement includes practical mechanisms equivalent to NATO's Article 5, and guarantee Ukraine's right to self-determination and EU membership. Only through concrete, enforceable steps can lasting peace and security be achieved for Ukraine and the region.
