Demand a Just and Lasting Peace in Ukraine: No Deals Without Ukrainian Sovereignty

Target: President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, European Union Leaders, and the United Nations
Goal: We call on President Trump, President Zelensky, European leaders, and all parties involved to reject any peace deal that undermines Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. A just and lasting peace must be based on the will of the Ukrainian people
The recent summit between President Trump and President Putin failed to secure a ceasefire in Ukraine, instead raising the prospect of a 'peace agreement' that would force Ukraine to cede control of the Donbas region to Russia. Such proposals, which reward military aggression and violate international law, are unacceptable.
European leaders, including Chancellor Merz, President Macron, and President von der Leyen, have rightly emphasized the need for a swift and just peace. However, any agreement that legitimizes Russia’s annexation of Ukrainian territory or freezes the conflict in place will only prolong suffering and instability.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and demand that all negotiations respect their sovereignty, human rights, and democratic will. The international community must not pressure Ukraine into unjust compromises or allow aggressors to dictate the terms of peace.
Key Demands
- Reject any peace agreement that requires Ukraine to cede territory or sovereignty under threat of force.
- Ensure that all negotiations include meaningful participation from Ukrainian civil society and affected communities.
- Maintain and strengthen international sanctions on Russia until it fully withdraws from occupied Ukrainian territories.
- Guarantee continued humanitarian and reconstruction aid to Ukraine, prioritizing the needs of displaced people and war-affected communities.
- Support accountability for war crimes and violations of international law committed during the conflict.
