Reports suggest that Trump and Putin discussed potential land swaps and ceasefire agreements, with little transparency or input from Ukrainian civil society or the international community.
We are deeply concerned that any agreement reached without the full participation of Ukraine and its people risks legitimizing aggression and undermining international law. Secretive negotiations and so-called 'business-like' deals cannot substitute for democratic processes and respect for national sovereignty.
