Target: President of the United States, U.S. Congress, European Commission, and United Nations Security Council

Goal: Ensure that any security guarantees for Ukraine are transparent, binding, and developed with full Ukrainian participation, and that a real ceasefire is prioritized.

Recent reports indicate that the U.S. and European allies, following discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin, are considering offering Ukraine security guarantees similar to NATO's Article 5. However, the details remain vague, and Ukraine was not directly represented in these critical negotiations.

The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in immense suffering and instability. While recent summits between U.S. and Russian leaders have produced promises of 'Article 5-like' security guarantees for Ukraine, the lack of transparency and Ukrainian representation in these talks is deeply concerning. Without clear, binding commitments and the inclusion of Ukraine in all negotiations, there is a risk that any agreement will be ineffective or fail to protect Ukrainian sovereignty.

We call on global leaders to ensure that Ukraine is an equal participant in all peace negotiations and that any security guarantees are robust, enforceable, and transparent to the public. Furthermore, we demand an immediate and verifiable ceasefire as a precondition for lasting peace.
