These documents included the summit schedule, names and contact information of U.S. government staff, and details about official meetings. Rather than addressing the potential risks posed by this breach, White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly dismissed the incident and ridiculed the journalists reporting on it.
This attitude undermines public trust and national security. The public deserves transparency and accountability, not mockery and evasion. We urge the administration to recognize the seriousness of this incident and to implement measures that prevent future breaches.
