Goal: Urge President Trump, European leaders, and all involved parties to commit to an open, democratic peace process for Ukraine that centers Ukrainian voices and rejects any backroom deals with Russia.
The future of Ukraine and European security is being decided at high-level meetings in Washington, where President Zelenskyy, European leaders, and President Trump are set to discuss ending Russia's war in Ukraine. This comes after President Trump's summit with Vladimir Putin, from which Ukraine was excluded.
We are deeply concerned that any peace deal negotiated without full Ukrainian participation and transparent democratic oversight risks undermining Ukraine's sovereignty and the security of Europe. The exclusion of Ukraine from talks with Russia, and the risk of secret deals or pressure for concessions, threaten to railroad the Ukrainian people into an unjust settlement.
We call on all leaders to reject any arrangement that puts Ukraine's future up for negotiation without its full involvement, and to ensure that European and Ukrainian voices are at the center of any peace process. The world must not allow backroom deals or power plays to determine the fate of millions.
Only a peace process rooted in justice, democracy, and respect for Ukraine's self-determination can bring lasting security to the region. We demand transparency, accountability, and the inclusion of civil society in all negotiations.

- Establish an independent international observer group to monitor the negotiation process and outcomes.
