In light of recent media coverage and public satire exposing ICE's recruitment campaigns, it is clear that the agency's messaging has crossed lines of decency and respect. Jokes about 'taking America back from the people we stole it from' and comparisons to violent science fiction scenarios are not only offensive but also reveal a disturbing culture within the agency.
Such rhetoric undermines public trust, promotes xenophobia, and disregards the dignity of immigrants and marginalized communities. ICE's recruitment materials should reflect the values of justice, fairness, and human rights—not perpetuate harmful stereotypes or trivialize the agency's serious responsibilities.
