Target: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Chancellor Friedrich Merz, President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, President Ursula von der Leyen, President Alexander Stubb, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and President Donald Trump
Goal: Urge European and U.S. leaders to stand firm for Ukraine’s rights, reject coercive deals, and secure meaningful, enforceable security guarantees for Ukraine.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in immense human suffering, with over a million people killed or wounded and millions more displaced. As leaders from Ukraine, Europe, and the United States meet to discuss a potential peace deal, there is a dangerous push to pressure Ukraine into accepting territorial concessions in exchange for a so-called 'peace.' Such a deal would reward aggression, violate Ukraine’s sovereignty, and set a dangerous precedent for international relations.
We call on all leaders involved in these talks to reject any agreement that forces Ukraine to cede territory under duress. Instead, we demand robust, enforceable security guarantees for Ukraine, continued support for its defense, and a peace process that centers the rights and voices of the Ukrainian people. The future of Ukraine must not be decided behind closed doors or under threat. Only a just peace—one that upholds international law and human rights—can bring lasting stability to the region.
