Reject Land-for-Peace Deals: Demand a Just and Lasting Peace for Ukraine

Target: President Donald Trump, U.S. Congress, European Union leaders, and international negotiators
Goal: To urge U.S. and European leaders to reject any peace agreement that legitimizes territorial conquest, undermines Ukraine's sovereignty, or sacrifices the rights and safety of the Ukrainian people.
We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned by reports of peace proposals that would force Ukraine to surrender large areas of its eastern territory to Russia in exchange for a partial Russian withdrawal and ambiguous security guarantees. Such a deal would not only violate Ukraine's right to self-determination but also embolden future acts of aggression worldwide.
Any agreement that legitimizes territorial conquest, denies Ukraine the right to choose its alliances, or compromises the rights of minorities and religious groups is unacceptable. The international community must stand firm against coercive diplomacy and uphold the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and human rights.
We call on U.S. and European leaders to reject any settlement that:
- Requires Ukraine to cede territory under duress
- Recognizes illegal annexations, such as Crimea
- Denies Ukraine the right to pursue NATO membership
- Undermines democratic institutions and minority rights
- Lifts sanctions on Russia without full accountability and withdrawal
Peace must be just, comprehensive, and respect the will of the Ukrainian people. Stand with Ukraine for a future based on justice, security, and international law.
Key Demands
- Reject any peace deal that requires Ukraine to surrender territory to Russia.
- Do not recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea or other Ukrainian regions.
- Uphold Ukraine's right to pursue membership in international alliances, including NATO.
- Maintain and strengthen sanctions on Russia until it fully withdraws from occupied territories and is held accountable for war crimes.
- Support Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the rights of all its people, including religious and linguistic minorities.
- Ensure that any security guarantees for Ukraine are robust, enforceable, and developed in consultation with the Ukrainian government and civil society.
