The ongoing war, launched by Russia in February 2022, continues to cause immense suffering and instability. Recent talks between the U.S. and Russia have not delivered an immediate ceasefire, making it clear that stronger action is necessary.

President Zelenskiy has called for a trilateral meeting with the leaders of the U.S. and Russia, emphasizing the need for security guarantees to deter future aggression. The American government must not only participate in these talks but also commit to concrete, enforceable measures that safeguard Ukraine's sovereignty and civilian lives.
