Target: European Heads of State, US President, and Negotiators Involved in Ukraine Peace Talks
Goal: We call on European leaders and the US administration to ensure that any negotiations about Ukraine’s future are transparent, inclusive, and uphold Ukraine’s sovereignty, self-determination, and security.
The war in Ukraine continues to devastate communities, with ongoing air strikes and civilian casualties reported daily. As President Zelenskyy prepares for crucial talks in Washington, European leaders must stand firm in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and the rights of its people.
Recent diplomatic efforts, including the Alaska summit between the US and Russia, have raised concerns that decisions about Ukraine’s future could be made without meaningful Ukrainian and European participation. Proposals to freeze front lines or demand Ukrainian withdrawal from its own territory undermine international law and the principle of self-determination.
We demand that European leaders and the US administration reject any settlement that is imposed without Ukraine’s full consent, and that they prioritize the voices of those most affected by the conflict. Lasting peace can only be achieved through transparent negotiations that respect Ukraine’s borders, human rights, and democratic aspirations—not through backroom deals or concessions to aggression.
