Target: President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky, President Vladimir Putin, and all members of the 'coalition of the willing'
Goal: Ensure that peace negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and international partners center on human rights, territorial integrity, and the immediate return of abducted Ukrainian children.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in immense human suffering, displacement, and the abduction of over 35,000 Ukrainian children by Russian forces. As diplomatic efforts intensify, including upcoming meetings between Presidents Trump, Zelensky, and Putin, it is critical that any agreement does not come at the expense of Ukrainian sovereignty or the fundamental rights of its people.
We are deeply concerned by reports that Russia is demanding Ukraine cede the Donbas region, reduce its military, and abandon its right to choose its alliances. These conditions violate international law and the right of nations to self-determination.
Furthermore, the return of abducted Ukrainian children must be a non-negotiable prerequisite for any peace process. The international community must not allow the forced displacement and assimilation of Ukrainian children to go unaddressed.
We call on all parties, especially the United States and European allies, to stand firm in defense of human rights and justice in all negotiations. Peace must not come at the cost of justice, accountability, or the future of Ukraine's children.
