Goal: Demand that President Trump and US officials unequivocally reject any agreement that forces Ukraine to cede territory to Russia, and insist on a peace process that respects Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
We are deeply concerned by reports that President Trump may support a Russian proposal for Ukraine to surrender control of two regions, and to freeze front lines in areas currently under partial Russian occupation. Such a deal would legitimize aggression, violate international law, and set a dangerous precedent for the world.
Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must not be bargained away in closed-door meetings. The people of Ukraine have already suffered immense hardship due to Russia’s illegal invasion and occupation. Any peace process must be just, inclusive, and uphold the principles of self-determination and international law.
We urge President Trump and all US officials to stand with Ukraine and reject any plan that rewards aggression or undermines the rights of the Ukrainian people. The US must work with European allies and the international community to secure a fair and lasting peace that respects Ukraine’s borders.
