Target: United Nations Human Rights Council, International Criminal Court, and world governments
Goal: Urge international leaders and human rights organizations to take immediate, concrete action to end the forced deportation of Ukrainian children and ensure their safe return.
Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, millions of children have faced unimaginable hardship. Reports from the United Nations and human rights organizations confirm that tens of thousands of Ukrainian minors have been forcibly taken into Russia or Russian-occupied territories, often without parental consent. This constitutes a grave violation of international law and, according to the UN, meets the treaty definition of genocide.
Despite diplomatic appeals, such as the recent letter from Melania Trump to President Putin, the suffering continues. The abduction and displacement of children is not only a war crime—it is an attack on the very fabric of humanity. We cannot allow these violations to go unchallenged.
We call on international bodies, governments, and civil society to unite in demanding the immediate end to forced deportations, the safe return of all affected children, and full accountability for those responsible.
