Target: President Joe Biden, U.S. Congress, NATO leadership, European Union leaders, and the United Nations
Goal: To call on world leaders, including those in the United States, Russia, and NATO, to ensure that any peace agreement on Ukraine is negotiated openly, with full Ukrainian participation, and protects the rights and safety of all affected communities.
The Ukrainian people have endured immense suffering due to the ongoing war. Now, as rumors circulate of secret negotiations between powerful leaders, it is more important than ever to demand a peace process that is transparent, democratic, and centered on human rights. Decisions about Ukraine must not be made without Ukrainians at the table. We call on our elected officials and international bodies to reject any backroom deals and to uphold the principles of self-determination, justice, and accountability in all negotiations. The world must not allow the future of Ukraine to be decided by a handful of powerful individuals. We stand in solidarity with all those affected by this war and demand a peace process that is open, fair, and just.
